As per the OAS Communication Email (Jan 17, 2019):
The revised criteria document includes several adjustments to the allocation of cards (Section 2.2) and to the Athlete Selection Criteria (Section 6.0) which have all been highlighted in red throughout the document. The revisions have been made to ensure the top-ranked Ontario athletes are properly captured within the criteria as well as the missed inclusion in the criteria of Ontario’s 2019 Canada Games Team athletes. The timing and extremely late release of the program guidelines by the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport, created unreasonably tight turnaround timelines over the holiday period and this, coupled with subsequent feedback and the unavailability of the Quest for Gold Program Consultant due to the holidays and vacation, prompted OAS’s undertaking to revise and repost the criteria. This posted revised criteria document has been reviewed and fully endorsed by the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport Quest for Gold Program Consultant, the Ontario Artistic Swimming (OAS) High Performance Committee, and members of the OAS Board of Directors.
