The Recreational program is perfect for those who have little-to-no experience in artistic swimming. Athletes at this level learn the fundamental skills of artistic swimming in a fun club environment without the commitment of competition.

The Regional League is a program based on inclusion, fun, skill development, and fairness of competition. This level is a great option for those who are new to the sport but want to gain the most important basic skills in a fun and engaging way that will help them excel in future levels, or for those looking to remain active in our sport.

Athletes in our competitive programs will have the opportunity to build upon their foundational skills, further explore the creative and technical sides of artistic swimming, and compete against other Ontario, Canadian, and international athletes.

Ontario Artistic Swimming believes that everyone should be able to enjoy our sport. Our member clubs offer “AWD – Cognitive” and “AWD – Physical” programming as a way of creating an inclusive community.

Our sport is full of brilliant, well-rounded athletes who make an impact on and off the pool deck. CUASL is a league specifically designed for athletes who are pursuing their academic goals. Swimmers are able to continue forming friendships with their teammates, and continue competing while they complete their post-secondary degree. A Novice stream also makes it possible for new athletes to participate.

The skills you learn in artistic swimming are skills for life! The Masters program is a great way for athletes to continue to train, compete in and enjoy our sport for many years. This level also includes a Regional League stream, making it possible to jump into artistic swimming for the first time at any age and remain active for life.
