Ontario Artistic Swimming (OAS) is seeking Board Members who are passionate about bringing OAS’s values to life – Excellence, Empowerment, Health & Wellbeing, and Sport For Life. OAS is a leader in artistic swimming that seeks to develop, promote, and support the pursuit of excellence in artistic swimming. If helping to shape the future of artistic swimming in Ontario excites you, then this is your opportunity to get involved and make a difference.
Nominations are currently being accepted for the Ontario Artistic Swimming Board of Directors. Successful candidates will fill three (3) open Director-at-large positions, which will be elected for a three (3) year term.
Following consultation with the Board, the Nominating Committee especially welcomes nominations from those who can strengthen OAS’s representation in the following areas of skills and expertise:
- Leadership Experience
- Fundraising
- Lobbying & Advocacy
- Legal & Compliance
- Strategic Planning and Focus
- Risk Assessment
- Human Resources
- Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

Timeline
June 26, 2023: Call for Nominations opened
August 29, 2023: Nomination Form and Nominee Profile are due by 4:30pm EST. Forms must be submitted through the Online Registration Form.
September 11-16, 2023: Candidate interviews with Nominating Committee members. The Nominating Committee will screen all nominations received and will contact those eligible to be considered for an interview.
September 21, 2023: The Nominating Committee will announce the slate of Candidates for the 2023-2024 board via email and on the OAS website.
September 28, 2023: OAS Annual Meeting and election.
