2013 Junior Provincial Team represented Ontario and Canada at the 2013 United States Open
Ontario Artistic Swimming’s Junior Provincial Team led by Head Coach Jennifer Koptie and Assistant Coach Julia Maclean competed at the 2013 U.S. Open in Irving, Texas July 9-13.
2013 Junior Provincial Team Members: Karen Batch, Emily Bennett, Natalie Constantin, Cosette Leblanc, Shannon Smith, Jocelyn Van Leeuwen, Jaye Webster, Nicky Young
Representing Ontario in solo was Emily Bennett, and in duet was Cosette Leblanc and Jaye Webster.
2013 Provincial Team High Performance Camp a success for top 10 and Under and 12 and Under athletes
The top 16 10 and Under and top 16 12 and Under athletes in Ontario participated in a 4-day high performance camp July 4-7 at the Etobicoke Olympium. Athletes were led through sessions with their Provincial Team coaches, along with invited guest experts which included Coach Susan Kemper, 2012 Olympians Stephanie Durocher, Erin Willson, Jennifer Knobbs, Olympian and Pilates instructor Fanny Letourneau-Roussel, Extension specialist Jennifer Nicholls, Judge Lesley Ahara, Swim Coach Sheila Galloway and COC Program Manager Jennifer Dwyer.
