OAS is excited to announce that Melissa Wolk, an experienced  leader in sport, will be joining Ontario Artistic Swimming as our new Executive Director effective August 2, 2023.

Melissa joins us with almost 20 years of experience in sport management and a lifelong passion for sport.  Melissa has worked at both the PSO and club levels across multiple sports, including Hockey and Basketball, and is genuinely passionate about sport.

“I recognize the positive impact that sport can have on both an individual and a community at large,” says Melissa Wolk. “I firmly believe that sport is one of those rare things that truly unites people from all backgrounds and cultures.”

During the interview process, Melissa impressed the selection committee and our member clubs with her passion for sport, commitment to understanding Artistic Swimming,  and knowledge of the challenges and opportunities OAS member clubs and volunteers  face.

“Melissa demonstrates a true dedication to the growth of our Artistic Swimmingand our community, and we are excited to see the impact she has and supporting her as she steps into the role of Executive Director” says Pat McCann, President of OAS.

In addition to welcoming Melissa, we’d like to thank our independent volunteers, and the individuals from our member clubs who took the time to help us with the selection process.  We are truly excited by the way the community came together to help us find and select Melissa to lead our organization in the years to come.

Please join us in welcoming Melissa to the team!
