Ontario Artistic Swimming is excited to announce the launch of its new online Regional League Coaching Module, “Coaching the Regional League”!
This module has been developed to address the current gap between AquaGO! certification and entry into competitive coaching, and better prepare Regional League coaches for success within the program. Spanning 3-4 hours of content in addition to course engagement and assignment opportunities, this course can be completed asynchronously on each coach’s schedule. The course has been broken into 8 individual chapters, and covers necessary learning areas such as the Regional League program format, season planning, practice planning, and more.
Regional League coaches will now be required to have both their AquaGO! certification and Regional League module certification, but will not require Competition Introduction certification. Please note that, while encouraged, coaches who have already been Competition Introduction trained will not be required to go back and complete this module to be eligible to continue coaching at the Regional League level.
