Ontario Artistic Swimming is proud to introduce its 2022-2023 Board of Directors! Reelected on Thursday, September 29th at the 2022 Annual General Meeting was Alanna Harman as Director at Large, and Christine Fink as Board Secretary.
We are thrilled to have had both Alanna and Christine re-elected to the Board for an additional term. In collaboration with Board Chair Pat McCann and Board Members Chris Foster, Lesley Toussaint, Trevor Scheffel and Alla Grigoryan, this team of individuals continues to support our sport in tremendous ways, leading us into a bright and exciting future. ALANNA HARMAN
Director at Large
Alanna Harman has served on the OAS Board of Directors since 2019, and has been an integral part of multiple operational committees during her tenure.
Alanna brings an unmatched background to the table through her academic history, completing both Masters and PhD Degrees specializing in youth sport. From her role as a longtime coach and later award-winning Head coach of London Synchro, she is also no stranger to the artistic swimming community.
Outside of the artistic swimming community, Alanna sits on the Advisory Board of Sunlife Financial Physically Active Communities, and has also volunteered extensively with the North American Society for Sport Management.
CHRISTINE FINK
Board Secretary
Christine Fink has served on the OAS Board since 2017, and continues to use her background in kinesiology, Human Resources and health & safety to create a more safe, inclusive sport for all.
As a supportive parent, Christine sits on the Board of Directors for Sudbury Synchro, acting as an integral support system for the province’s only Northern Region club. In her tenure as an OAS Board member, she has taken a key role as Board Secretary and chair of the HR Committee.
Outside of the artistic swimming community, Christine is an active volunteer with the Canadian Cancer Society, and a Manager for the City of Greater Sudbury’s Human Resources team.
