Ontario Artistic Swimming is excited to introduce OAS: Next Wave, a new initiative designed to help athletes stay connected to artistic swimming as they leave their home clubs and transition into new schools, cities, and communities.
Whether athletes are moving away for university or college, beginning a new chapter after competitive swimming, or simply looking for new ways to stay involved in the sport, Next Wave aims to create meaningful connections and opportunities beyond their home club experience.
Through this program, athletes will complete a form sharing their future school or living plans, along with the ways they hope to stay involved in artistic swimming. Opportunities may include swimming with a masters program, joining a university league team through CUASL, coaching, volunteering, officiating, or other roles within the artistic swimming community.
By completing the form, athletes agree to have their information shared with participating clubs, schools, and programs for the purpose of connecting them with opportunities that align with their interests and future plans.

Clubs, post-secondary institutions, and organizations interested in participating will also complete their own form outlining the opportunities they have available for incoming athletes. This will allow Ontario Artistic Swimming to help connect athletes with programs looking to welcome new members into their communities.

Forms for the upcoming 2026–2027 season must be completed by June 19th. Following the submission deadline, Ontario Artistic Swimming will connect athletes and clubs, schools, and organizations with shared interests and opportunities that align with their future plans.
Next Wave is about ensuring athletes can continue making waves in the sport — wherever their next chapter takes them.
