OAS is launching a new worldwide and provincial social media challenge.
One of the most difficult skills to excel at in our sport is that which demands the ultimate in flexibility in the water, be it as a figure (Ariana), element or part of a routine. We are excited to announce the OASSplitChallenge. Help us reach our goal of 250 posts by December 31, 2019.
Eligibility: There is two ways to win. The first will be for all artistic swimmers residing in the province of Ontario and the second will be an invitation to all artistic swimmers worldwide.
Swimmers choosing to participate must have a picture of their splits in the water posted on social media. Clubs, swimmers or parents can post the photo; only one photo per swimmer is eligible to enter the competition. If you wish to enter the contest but have a private social media page the photo can be sent to Ontario Artistic Swimming’s Facebook or Instagram in a direct message.
*NOTE: All photos must include the #OASSplitChallenge in order to be entered.
Photos may be reposted onto Ontario Artistic Swimming social media accounts; therefore permission to do so is implied. Entries that are posted on social media stories will not count.
The contest will run from November 1, 2019 at 12:01am – December 31, 2019 at 11:59pm. All photos posted outside of the contest period will not be eligible. Winners will be announced on social media early in the New Year 2020. A winner will be randomly selected from all entries with one each from the province and one from international entries. A custom “Charlotte Artistic Swimming T-Shirt” will be awarded to the two winners. You will have your choice of 3 colours and 4 sizes.
