Ontario athletes join the CAS Senior National Team

August 7, 2020 –

We spotted some familiar names this morning when CAS announced the newest additions to the Senior Full-Time Olympic Training Group! These 19 athletes will form the 2020-2021 Olympic Training Group scheduled to start training full-time in September at Montreal’s Institut National du Sport (INS).

In addition to the 12 members of the 2019-2020 Senior National Team, the reigning FINA World Series and Pan American Games champions, 7 new athletes have been invited to join the group as they start preparing for the 2021 World Series and the postponed Tokyo Olympics. Ontario athletes, Emma Spott and Scarlett Finn, are two of the new members to join this squad. These two have wowed us in Ontario and on the national stage for years and we wish them all the best in this new chapter of their artistic swimming careers.
